Read and relax

The computer desks

Three dedicated workspaces with internet access are available, perfect for remote working or peaceful study.

A cheerful, carpeted space filled with early reader books and toys, designed for young families to explore together.

For those who prefer the rustle of a turning page to the scrolling and clicking of a mouse we have a daily copy of The Times newspaper to read.

Whether you're catching up on the day's headlines, browsing the latest library books, meeting a friend for a chat, or simply taking a break, this welcoming space is open to everyone. It's a great place to read and reflect.

The children's corner

We offer convenient printing and photocopying services (at a small fee), making it easy to print documents, forms, tickets, and more. Friendly staff are available to help if you need assistance.

Printing and Photocopying

We also have a children's jigsaw puzzle exchange.

Book Sales

Visually Impaired

Our library offers a selection of large print books and audiobooks, making reading more accessible for everyone. Whether you prefer larger text or enjoy listening on the go, you'll find a range of popular fiction, non-fiction, and classics to borrow and enjoy.

We have a defibrillator on-site at the library. This is only available during library opening times. Other local defibrillators are located at Tattenham Health Clinic, Tattenham Corner train station (24/7) and St Marks Church (24/7). If dealing with an emergency, always call 999 first.

We always have books for sale. Paperbacks, hardbacks, fiction, non-fiction for adults and children.

We also hold regular pop up sales of surplus books and puzzles.

We accept donated books, so if you have some good reads that you are finished with, please bring them along. All monies raised help support the library and the events we put on.

Jigsaw Exchange

Large print books and audio books can also be ordered from other Surrey Council libraries for you to collect from us (subject to availability).

and there is more...

Love jigsaw puzzles? Our Jigsaw Exchange is a great way to discover fresh challenges, save money, and share the enjoyment of puzzling with others. Bring along your completed puzzles and swap them for new ones to enjoy.

Children's Trust Artwork

We regularly have displays of artwork by young people from the Children's Trust in Tadworth. These lovely pieces of art are available for sale with all proceeds going to the Children's Trust.

Food Club

Litter PIcking

If anyone would like to donate to the local food club run by St Mark's Church, you can leave your donations at the library during opening times. These donations are hugely appreciated.

Defibrillator

Help keep our local area clean, green, and welcoming by being a litter picking volunteer. We hold litter picking equipment for anyone who would like to keep our local area clean and tidy.
